Cuba and Brazil signed two agreements for commercial banking training and “technical strengthening of the banking system in Cuba,” Prensa Latina reported. 

The agreements were signed by Marcos Farani, head of Brazil’s foreign aid agency, and the Cuban ambassador in Brasilia.

Brazil has provided Cuba support in the banking sector for a decade.
