La concienciación social sobre los delitos contra menores ha aumentado en los últimos años en Cuba, donde en 2012 se reportaron unas 2.117 denuncias, en su mayoría relacionadas con "abusos lascivos", informó el Ministerio del Interior (MININT), según EFE.

"Estudios de las ciencias sociales indican que en Cuba han bajado las cifras ocultas de delitos y hay una mayor percepción de riesgo, y de seguridad y confianza de las personas en las autoridades que investigan estos hechos", afirmó la jefa de la Dirección de Menores del Minint, la coronela Idais Borges.
