Al menos 87 presos políticos hay actualmente en las cárceles cubanas, según un informe de la opositora Comisión Cubana de Derechos Humanos y Reconciliación Nacional (CCDHRN) divulgado este lunes, informa EFE.

"El Gobierno de Cuba sigue teniendo la más alta cifra de presos políticos en todo el hemisferio occidental", denunció la comisión que lidera el disidente Elizardo Sánchez.

La CCDHRN dice tener documentados 87 casos de presos políticos que cumplen condena en Cuba, incluidos seis que en 2013 fueron adoptados como prisioneros de conciencia por Amnistía Internacional.
